HONOR JOLLIFFE
After completing her Foundation in Art and Design at Falmouth School of Art, Honor turned to languages and a career in international human rights work. Twenty five years later, when the youngest of her three children was one, she picked up a paint brush and has been painting in oils ever since. She has also been studying drawing – and by extension painting – with Saied Dai and Charlotte Sorapure for the last six years. She loves form, colour and pattern-making and the small, quiet conversations that can be created in still lives. Increasingly, she loves the puzzle and challenge of painting people – more often than not her own children.
