biography
Stuart Low is an artist working at BV studios in Bristol.

He is currently engaged in making both figurative and landscape-based paintings and drawings.

During the first lockdown of 2020, he began a series of works focusing on people, imagined and remembered, which in turn were paired together in relationships. During the same period, his observations of landscape and the places he enjoys walking saw a directional shift with the emergence of ideas about accessibility, fragility and vulnerability.

Both streams of work form an ongoing line of enquiry.
