[tab:biography] VICTOR HAMMOND
Victor Hammond was a self-employed illustrator and designer from the 1940s–1980s. Clients included Austin Morris, Standard Motor Company (1940/1950s), Coventry (designed the Standard 8) 1960/1961 – Volvo, Gothenburg, Sweden (designed the Volvo P1800 as seen in the Saint) 1960/1970s and the Ford Motor Company, Dagenham, Essex (designed D series truck/bus). He also exhibited at Chelsea Barracks, London.
