Michelle Conway
Michelle Conway was born in 1968 in Troy, NY, and currently lives and works in Ireland.
Michelle distills memory and experience into form, using repetition as both meditation and a channel for ancestral transmission in her studio. Ritual is central to her practice—establishing order, setting boundaries, and repeatedly returning to the coordinates of Upstate NY for evidence. By uncovering what is left behind, she reveals what is needed to go forward.
