Tamsin Abbott

Tamsin has been creating painted stained glass panels from her Herefordshire home for almost 25 years. Her work is inspired by the British landscape, folklore, fairytale, fellowship and the cycle of life.

She is as inspired by the gentle joy of the everyday as much as the power of spirit and myth. Her aim is to try to combine these elements as a celebration of life, death and our interconnectivity with all things.
Her work is collected globally and she has twice featured on BBC’s Countryfile as well as in many national magazines. She is a member of the British Society of Master Glass Painters, exhibiting with them alongside the Museum of British Folklore, the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, and many other UK galleries.
In 2025 the book Wild Folk, was published, in which Tamsin illuminates Jackie Morris’s tales using the medium of stained glass.
